About the WASP Squadron
The WASP Squadron preserves and spreads the story of the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP), through education, in the air and on the ground.  Experience both by flying in the AT-6 “Nella” who was flown by 6 WASP cadets in 1943-44, plus 7 that flew with her from 2017 and on (see their signatures in the luggage compartment). WASP began their training in PT-13's (primary trainer) moved on to BT's (basic trainer) and then to the AT-6 (advanced trainer) with the more powerful engine, and graduated when proficient in the AT-6.      
Rider information:    All riders must sign a Hold Harmless agreement (available online)

  • Riders must be at least 12 years of age; between the ages of 12 and 17 a Legal Guardian must be present at Check- in; 

  • Weight restrictions above 250 pounds may apply
